General information of the submission process
- A team can present as many abstracts as they wish to, but we limit
acceptance to 2 abstracts per presenter. - A co-author is notlimited in the number of abstracts he/she takes part in.
- Abstracts and authorship cannot be modified after submission deadline
- Confirmationemail of submission and abstract acceptance will be sent to the
first author. - No payment is required for abstract submission, but registration of themain
author will be required upon notification of abstract acceptance. Failure to do
so will result in the exclusion of the accepted abstract.
- All accepted abstracts:
- After presentation at the Congress, will be published
in the European Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology - Will be invited to orally present at the Congress
(there is no option for paper or e-poster presentation) - Will fall into one of these four categories:
> Oral Poster (3-minute presentation)
> Selected Oral Presentation (6-minute presentation)
> Surgical/Obstetrical/Imaging Technique Video (4-minute video)
> Case Report Video slide show (3-minute video slide show; ie slides running in video format)
- After presentation at the Congress, will be published
- 5 awards will be granted by the Congress Committee. Award winners must be present at the Closing Ceremony in order to receive
their award.
Abstract rules
- All abstracts must be written in English. Any other languages (including
German) will not be considered for the review process. - Word count is limited to 300 words. The title, authors’ name and affiliation
should not be included in this number. - All abstracts must follow the structure:
Introduction, Objective, Methods, Discussion and Conclusions - Authors are requested to indicate their preference concerning the type of
presentation, out of one of the four categories listed above - Authors should also indicate the abstract topic and signal if main author is a
trainee - The Congress Committee will have the final decision on the type of
presentation and allocated Session for each accepted abstract. - Please note that all case reports must be presented in a Video format of a
slide show (animated sequences of static images or slides are allowed). - All presentations must be submitted online before the Congress starts,
authors will be informed about deadlines after acceptance.
